Our story — the Wakame way

Sushi of the highest quality

The story began in 2008, with three close friends who shared a passion for the kind of sushi they had come to know on their travels. They opened one small, modest sushi shop. At the start it was never about profit, but about sharing that experience with their friends and their community — with no compromise on the quality of a single ingredient. That passion, and an unbroken attention to detail, is what grew Wakame into one of the most loved sushi restaurants around.

In 2013 the group set out to offer something larger, and has gone on serving a distinctly Japanese experience made for the Saudi table.
